Week of March 13
This last week we stayed indoors a lot, thanks to the cold and the snow. We still managed to have fun inside, however. We made Hamentaschen, a triangular cookie that is special for the Jewish holiday of Purim. We went fishing for eggs one day, made roads for our vehicles, and had a few indoor picnics with our friends.
This week we also looked at the color blue, which is "azul" in Spanish. We made a few projects using glue and light blue felt on darker blue paper. We read the perennial favorite, "Little Blue Truck." In the coming weeks we will be exploring more colors, and hopefully seeing more colors as spring makes its appearance!
