We had a run of rainy days in the last few weeks and had to occupy the children inside, with our caterpillar tunnel. We've also had a lot of heat advisory days, and we've come to rely on the water play outside to keep the kids cool when we can go outside.
Meanwhile, the real live caterpillars that the black swallowtail butterfly laid in our garden have been eating with gusto and growing. Two caterpillars have already turned into chrysalises, and the others will soon be joining them. We will keep you updated!
