It's a wrap!

We wrapped up our clothing unit in style! In the Sprouts class the children made their own tie-dyed t-shirts to take home, while the Seeds class used tie-dye to make their own handkerchiefs. The older class also finished making their washer/dryer to launder clothes on a bigger scale. Many of them have been finding creative ways to wear the clothes that we keep around for them to play with.

We also added a new marketplace area in the back for the children to use. They can buy sell fruit, veggies, and even clothes if they are feeling ambitious! This week we will begin to talk about bread with the older class, while the younger ones are focusing on nursery rhymes.
